Sri Narayani Temple (across the road)
The official recommendations suggest visiting Sri Narayani Temple after Sripuram. It is on the opposite side of the road, about a three-minute walk. They also suggest asking about the timings of Sri Sakthi Amma's pooja at Sri Narayani Peedam.

Vellore Fort and the Jalakandeswarar temple
Vellore Fort is in the centre of Vellore, about 10 km by road from Sripuram. The Vellore District Government describes it as a rectangular granite fort built in the 16th century, with a circumference of about 3 km, and the site of the 1806 Vellore revolt against the British. It contains the Jalakandeswarar temple (dedicated to Shiva), a mosque and a church. The Government Museum, Vellore, with eight galleries on the history and natural history of the region, is inside the fort premises.
