By road

The usual road route runs south from Tirupati through Chittoor, crossing from Andhra Pradesh into Tamil Nadu, to Katpadi and Vellore.

Independent planning estimate

Allow about 3 hours each way by car. Add time for the descent from Tirumala if you are starting at the hill shrine.

Combining with Tirumala

Sripuram's darshan hours are 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM, daily, which gives a long window after leaving Tirupati.

Independent planning guidance

Darshan time at Tirumala is hard to predict, so plan Sripuram for the following day rather than squeezing it in after Tirumala. If you finish at Tirumala in the morning, an afternoon arrival at Sripuram still leaves time before darshan closes at 8:00 PM.
