Independent website

This is an independent, unofficial information website. It cannot take bookings, sell tickets or accept donations. For official bookings and current temple information, visit the official Sripuram website.

Temple accommodation (official)

The official facilities page lists two kinds of temple accommodation.

Guest houses

Non-A/C ₹1,000; A/C ₹1,500, ₹2,000 and ₹2,500 (double occupancy, GST extra, complimentary breakfast) — the official page labels these "revised from 1 July 2019".

Dormitory

Free dormitory (₹25 donation for bedding); paid dormitory ₹50 per head; halls for groups at ₹1,500 for 30 adults.

Because the guest house tariff on the official page is labelled as dating from 2019, confirm current prices when you book.

How to book

We cannot check availability or book rooms. We do not know how far in advance rooms fill up; for festival dates, enquire early.

Staying in Vellore town

Vellore town has many independent hotels and lodges of all sizes. We do not list or review individual hotels, because we have not stayed in them and will not publish recommendations we cannot stand behind.

Independent planning guidance

When choosing a hotel, consider how you will reach Sripuram (it is on the south side of the town; Vellore Fort and the town centre are about 10 km away by road), whether parking is available if you are driving, and how close you are to Katpadi Junction if you are travelling by train.

Guidance from this website, not an official temple rule.
