Our target
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.
What we have done
- Semantic HTML with one main heading per page and a logical heading order.
- A skip link, full keyboard navigation of menus, and visible focus indicators.
- Text and background colours chosen for sufficient contrast.
- Text alternatives for illustrations, with captions that say when an image is an illustration rather than a photograph.
- Tables with captions and header cells.
- Layouts that work on small screens and at 200% text zoom, and animation that stops when your device asks for reduced motion.
Known limitations
We have not yet had the site tested by an external accessibility auditor or by users of every assistive technology.
