Festivals and special days
Timings, queue arrangements and seva schedules can change on:
- major Hindu festivals and auspicious days;
- special events and yagams conducted by Sri Narayani Peedam;
- any day the temple issues an announcement.
Festival dates are not listed here because they change every year with the Hindu calendar. Check the official website's events and announcements in the week before you travel.
Planning around the timings
Independent planning guidance
Work backwards from the closing times: general darshan ends at 8:00 PM and the Divya Darshan Seva at 7:30 PM. Leave enough time before them for parking, the cloak room, security and the walk along the Star Path, which can take a while on busy days. In hot months, the middle of the day is the hardest time to walk outdoors barefoot.
Guidance from this website, not an official temple rule.
For the full plan, see the Sripuram visitor guide and darshan, pooja and seva.
